With experimental.useOffline (experimental), soft navigations and Server Actions stay pending when the network drops and retry automatically. Prefetched App Shells still paint instantly.

How to test

  1. Prefer next build && next start. Dev mode is not a reliable reference for offline behavior.
  2. Chrome DevTools → Network → Offline (or airplane mode).
  3. Soft-navigate to the live dashboard. Expect the title/shell immediately; the metrics fallback should read “Waiting for connection…”.
  4. Go online again — metrics stream in with no reload.
  5. On the live page, click Ping while offline, then reconnect — the timestamp appends without a second click.

Note: A full page reload while offline still fails — there is no service worker here. Soft navigations into a prefetched shell are what this demo covers. The flag is global once enabled; only this demo’s banner and fallback UI are scoped.
